Oak Grove participates each year in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child program. We collect items throughout the year to fill each box with joy!

The OCC collection schedule is listed below. Please note: Donation bins are located in the west lobby.

January - Focus on youth boys: flashlights, small hammers, work gloves, t-shirts, balls with pumps.

February - “Share God’s Love” fill the foyer with hygiene items, toothbrushes, lip balm, stick deodorant, hair accessories, brushes, combs.

March - School supplies: Crayons, glue sticks, colored pencils, pens, pencils, scissors.

April - Wash cloths and socks.

May - Small toys: stuffed animals, dolls, jump ropes, cars, balls, puzzles, etc.

June - Personal accessories: flip flops, sun dresses, tote bags, undergarments, t-shirts.

July - “Christmas in July” fill a bag with school supplies. Crayons, glue sticks, scissors, pens, pencils, small notebooks.

August - Hygiene items: lip balm, toothbrushes, combs, hairbrushes, tissues.

September - Toys and fillers: balls, dolls, cars, jump ropes, puzzles, etc.

October - Love offering for postage and fillers.

November - Love offering for postage. Pray for collection week.

What is NOT allowed: liquids, creams, nail polish, soap, any scary or sharp items, military toys or clothes.
